So, when I was planning my hair regimen I decided that I wanted to give Hairfinity a try. I planned out what my Hairfinity expenses would be for the whole entire year. If I bought four bottles at a time, three times out of the year I would be paying roughly $300.00 for 1 year of hair vitamins that may or may not give me the faster growth that I desire. I really don’t want to give Hairfinity that much of my money, especially if I don’t know if their product will work for me or not. I started looking for alternatives. One YouTuber named, sexymama314573 suggested to take the FutureBiotics brand of Hair, Skin, and Nail vitamins along with MSM, one of the main ingredients in the Hairfinity vitamins, as a substitute for the HairFinity. Most of the ingredients in the FutureBiotics vitamins have a higher dosage of the ingredients with the exception of Vitamin B-12, Biotin, and Pantothenic Acid, but the FutureBiotics brand of vitamins has extra beneficial ingredients that Hairfinity does not contain. To make my alternative to Hairfinity a little more comparable I decided that I’m going to take an extra 1000mcgs of Biotin because the FutureBiotics brand of vitamins only contains 1,500mcgs of Biotin, while Hairfinity has 2,500mcgs.
I searched around the web for the best prices and VitaCost was the winner! I bought:
2 bottles of Futurebiotics Hair Skin and Nails® -- 135 Tablets
1 bottle of Solaray MSM -- 750 mg - 180 Capsules
1 bottle of Vitacost Biotin (High Potency) -- 1000 mcg - 100 Tablets
My total, including shipping, came out to be $ 43.49! This amount of product will last me 90 days with 10 Biotin capsules left over!
A 60 day supply of Hairfinity will cost you $48, not including shipping cost.
I plan to start taking this cocktail of vitamins along with Omega-3 Fish Oil on January 14th, 3 months before the 1st day of Elle Peah’s 2013 Hair Journey Challenge, which begins on April 14th. Someone once told me that you need to have vitamins in your system for at least 3 months in order for you to start seeing results, hence the reason I’m starting 3 months earlier.
I hope you find this information useful! Until next time…
